The conference on Discrete Geometry and Mathematical Morphology (DGMM) is a joint event between the two main conference series of IAPR TC18, the International Conference on Discrete Geometry for Computer Imagery (DGCI) and the International Symposium on Mathematical Morphology (ISMM). The first DGMM edition happened in Uppsala, Sweden, in May 2021, 5 years after the extension of the scope the TC 18 to Mathematical Morphological.
Steering Committee: Yukiko Kenmochi (Chair), Michael Wilkinson (Vice Chair), Jesús Angulo, Isabelle Bloch, Gunilla Borgefors, Srcko Brlek, Bernhard Burgeth, David Coeurjolly, Isabelle Debled-Rennesson, Andrea Frosini, Marie Jos Jiménez, Walter Kropatsch, Jacques-Olivier Lachaud, Cris Luengo Hendriks, Petros Maragos, Laurent Najman, Sara Brunetti (TC18), Dan Schonfeld, Hugues Talbot.
List of editions:
DGCI is a series of conferences on Discrete Geometry for Computer Imagery. After several conferences organized in France, DGCI became an International Conference by its participants, its scientific committee and then by its location.
Steering Committee: Eric Andres, Gunilla Borgefors, Srecko Brlek, David Coeurjolly, Isabelle Debled-Rennesson, Andrea Frosini, Maria-Jose Jimenez, Yukiko Kenmochi (contact chair), Bertrand Kerautret, Walter Kropatsch , Jacques-Olivier Lachaud, Nicolas Normand
Advisory board: Jean-Marc Chassery, Annick Montanvert, Gabriella Sanniti di Baja.
Since the 6th DGCI (November 1996), proceedings are published by Springer Verlag, in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
If you wish to organize the next DGCI Edition, please have a look to the Guidelines for DGCI organization and on how to prepare a DGCI proposal written by the DGCI Steering Committee.
Moreover, since the creation of the TC18, there is a presentation of the TC18 in plenary session during each DGCI conference. Here are the slides presented during some of these TC18 meetings: 2019 2017 2016 2014 2013
List of past editions:
ISMM is the main series of conferences dedicated to Mathematical Morphology. The first editions were initiated in Spain and in France (1993 (Barcelona) and 1994 (Fontainebleau)).
